At Brace and Buckle, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before placing an order.
Change of Mind Returns
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns for change of mind, incorrect selection, or if you no longer want the item.
Please choose carefully before purchasing.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If a product arrives damaged, faulty, defective, or is not what you ordered, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under New Zealand consumer law.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging

Conditions for Claims
To help us assess the issue:
- Products must not be intentionally damaged or misused
- Items should be returned in reasonable condition where possible
- Proof of purchase is required
We may ask you to return the item before approving a refund or replacement.
Shipping Costs
If the product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide instructions for return delivery.
We are not responsible for return shipping costs for non-faulty items where a return is accepted at our discretion.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.
